| Tiivistelmä: | Software development royalties, trademarks, licensing contracts, patent and goodwill transfers etc. Companies make use of numerous legal instruments in the area of innovation. The contribution of the law to this field is analyzed in two areas: the protection and the marketing of innovation. It is examined how the law effects innovation , i.e. the responsibility of law in respect to the implementation, development and expansion of innovations. As a result, the question arises what role the law may play in terms of fiscal policy favouring investments and incomes in the matter of R and D or in permitting to bring closer together individual researches and companies which are produces as well as consumers of innovations. |
