| Tiivistelmä: | There has been a lot of discussion in personnel psychology on the stability of performance and the reliability of its measurement. This article presents a brief review of the stability controversy. Then it proceeds to examining the stability of performance by focusing on persons, on the situations in which they behave, and on persons behaving in situations. A survey was made over a 6.5 year period of professors and their courses with the method of student ratings. A pattern of stability over time was also explored. |
