Tiivistelmä:Definition of dumping as set out in Article VI. of the GATT is provided and interpreted. Measures adopted by the four major users of the Antidumping Code /the USA, the EC, Canada, and Australia/ concerning antidumping procedures, the issues of normal value, export price and injury are discussed: "tilts" that favour domestic procedures are investigated. The experience of several low developed countries, including Mexico and Turkey, and of some GATT members that are not signatories of the Antidumping Code, are analysed. Recommendations to remove or reduce the protectionist bias in the Antidumping Code are offered. Protectionist tilts in antidumping legislation are compared.
