| Tiivistelmä: | A clear overview of the securitisation process is given. The definition of the concept is formed, different forms are identified, and the link between this concept and the one of disintermediation is described. The situation of securitisation in relation to the financial innovation process is pointed out. The main securitisation instruments, and their actual market tendencies are presented through the examples of the American and Euromarkets. The influence of the interest rate evolution on these tendencies is shown. The (non) continuous aspect of the securitisation of fund transfer is argued. |
