Tiivistelmä:When co-workers are not sharing information or responding to their peers, work schedules and deadlines are missed, efforts are duplicated and product quality suffers. Unfortunately, more than half of employees say that lateral communication in their organizations is ineffective. In many organizations, departments communicate with each other when a crisis or problem develops. In a broader sense, employees do not understand the goals, responsibilities and capabilities of other departments. Arguments are presented that regularly shared information leads to proactive communication. Networks and chances must be established to open both formal and informal communication lines throughout the company.
