Tiivistelmä:Human resources management styles can be defined along a continuum. At one end is the bureaucrat relying on fixed answers. In the middle is the administrator who implements other people's ideas. At the other end is the entrepreneur, a risk taker who makes a positive impact on the organization. Every human resources executive should be an entrepreneur. A recent survey conducted by the American Productivity Center revealed some important perceptions held by chief executive officers. They actually see the human resources manager operating as an administrator. Unfortunately, this same survey uncovered that top management does not always define and communicate its expectations of human resources clearly.
