| Tiivistelmä: | The business economy preview for 1991 is attempted through four distinct forecasts and interpretations. The main issues treated are inflation, USA budget deficit, economic recession, productivity of the USA industries, banking, the effect of Japan and the European Community on the USA economy etc. New global economic forces and the evolution of manufacturing are discussed. Some figures are presented that can be used for economic forecasts in some industries in the USA. The "layer cake" view of global capital flow is explained and used in the forecasts. A common forecast of the four is that USA growth could exceed 2 percent in 1991. |
