| Tiivistelmä: | The paper attempts to extend the perspective of the process tradition in strategy research to the study of change across national, industry and firm levels of analysis, in order to understand better the process linkages between industry evolution and firm-level strategic change. The particular case of the Irish dairy industry is linked to more generic phenomena. These are the linked processes of industry evolution and strategic change, or process of complex, multilevel, structural and strategic change. The author suggests that further research should extend to the study of other types of multilevel change processes and to a more systematic comparative study of particular types, such as the industry structural evolution process featured in this research. |
