Tiivistelmä:The number of guests and the amount of profits tend to decrease at Kempinski hotels. Both the new owner and the management try to find new ways of revitalization mainly by market and consumer demanded products and services. An action plan for the medium and long term has been developed. The improvement of airport connections as well as the performance of Kempinski hotels in East Europe is projected. Cost saving measures are also necessary. In the course of management reorganization the concept of lean management, a more flat hierarchy of managerial positions and a more effective team work will be implemented. In addition, efforts are needed to make sales promotion more efficient.
