| Tiivistelmä: | The definition of the purpose and concept of the fundamental and specific capacity of the information infrastructure and od its future role in the development strategy of the business system is becoming more and more significant, especially and reliable access to information sources and the available information sources necessary for all the management levels within a business system.For the management level of the information infrastructure it is, therefore, crucial to achieve an optimal relation between all the available information potentials which are in the information infrastructure, and to bring about such an operation of the information infrastructure which optimally contributes to the effectiveness and efficiency of the information system as well as of the wholo business system. Appropriate starting points to justify the role and significance of the information infrastructure management lie preeminently in a more detailed definition of what is the field of the information infrastructure in a certain business structure, and what is the role of the information infrastructure management process with respect to the entirety of the management process in the business system. |
