The author states that unless you've been in a coma for the past few months you can't fail to have noticed BT's high-profile attempt to make its name synonymous with broadband - and all that is good about it. It's always on. It's faster than a speeding bullet. It provides simultaneous access to the internet and the phone, while minimising the cost of doing both. Fortunately, there's a startlingly laid back and competent ÂÒ engineer on the spot to get the situation under control when it all gets a bit out of hand. Whether the reality will be that easy to manage remains to be seen. |
