Tiivistelmä:This article presents a theoretical framework of the internal processes of strategic management examining how the active engagement of senior managers affects strategic outcomes. The enterprise restructuring processes in four large Czech enterprises are examined. Instead of addressing the old question of how 'management matters' in the strategy process, this article examines what managers do in practice to achieve the goals.
