| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses three previous researches on logit and probit models.It is important to understand how these models differ from ordinary least squares or it can lead researchers to misunderstanding their statistical results and draw incorrect conclusions. The author identifies four critical issues in their use: interpreting coefficients, modellinginteractions between variables, comparing coefficients between groups and measures of model fit. The results provide implications for research with logit and probit models. |
