In addition to its London base, it focuses on building investment banking bases in New York and the Far East. The firm aims at a golden triangle linking the three poles, rather than following its rivals who try to establish a dominant central base. Schroder's investment managers are not going to buy unattractive securities. The firm accepted that building their own broker by hiring people from the market meant a slower growth than buying a London broker. |
