| Tiivistelmä: | The author reports the study on price behavior in Southern England engineering during 1983-1985. The findings suggest that firms'pricing practice was contrary to the aims of optimization. The firms appeared to ignore the potential for improved results. Despite any restrictions of the sample, data acquisition, analysis, and explanation, the total picture cannot be discounted. |
