| Tiivistelmä: | An explanation of price and wage rigidities in certain industrial structures. It is argued that in India quality products enhance an individual's status, and goods and services can be positively related to aggregate excess demand, giving rise to natural discontinuity in demand that may result in price rigidities. The study opines it will be profit-maximising for a doctor with many waiting patients not to increase his fees. Ten equations and three Figures are given with the model, excess-demand equilibria and extensions. |
