| Tiivistelmä: | There are various phases and management situations in a company life cycle that have to be strictly separated from each other. The set-up phase and the phases of growth, differentiation, consolidation and liquidation are examined. The reasons of unexpected company failures are discussed: why hitherto successful managers are suddenly the victims of failure. Some management personality traits that leave their mark on the company life cycle are highlighted. The most important characteristics of pioneers, makers, strategists and coaches are discussed. They all have to be change agents as well. |
