| Tiivistelmä: | "Return on investment" has also to be assured in the case of the "Computer Integrated Office" (CIO). Some characteristics of the office of the future are highlighted. It is shown how fragmented technological innovations can be organized into an integrated whole constituting a CIO. Some possible ways of a cost benefit analysis of office automation investments are described. Some preconditions for a profitable CIO introduction are listed and analyzed. Guidelines for the implementation of the CIO concepts are provided. |
