| Tiivistelmä: | An efficient way to manage information systems function is to introduce steering committees. Allegedly the advantage of a steering committee is that it can improve the ISs planning efforts of an organization. In order to analyze empirically this claim, the paper investigates the impact on three phases: 1) strategic planning, 2) systems planning and 3) implementation of planning. The greatest impact is found on phase 1. |
