| Tiivistelmä: | In presenting some results on energy demand and the role of energy at the macroeconomic level for the Greek economy the "total energy approach" is followed: energy demand is modelled in the aggregate, and its distribution among different energy forms is subsequently captured by interrelated quantity share equations. An aggregate energy demand function emerges. Energy demand is split among alternative forms by quantity share equations, and an aggregate energy price is estimated. Using the entire macro model that energy forms part of, energy price simulation results are also presented. |
