| Tiivistelmä: | The paper has proposed a framework for valuing a compensation contract from the point of view of a manager. The results indicate that if a risk-averse manager has a large portion of his own wealth tied to stock price, then the value of a compensation contract to him can significantly differ from the cost of a plan as perceived by the shareholders. Other results suggest complications with former results. |
