| Tiivistelmä: | According to the preliminary estimation, the payable national debt (including principal and interest) at maturity in 1997 will total over 180 billion yuan. If the central financial deficit is reduced by 10 billion yuan according to schedule, the volume of national debt issued in 1997 should stand at 230 billion yuan or so, otherwise, it will be even more. In 1997, on the basis in 1996, we need to deepen the reform, improve the issuing method and the composition of the categories of bonds, increase new varieties, realise regular issuance of national debt of the same time limit and establish a unified national system for book keeping, settlement and trusteeship. |
