| Tiivistelmä: | This article discusses the argument made by ecological economists about Marx's reproduction schemes being self-contained circular flows that downgrade the importance of natural conditions. The critique is evaluated in the light of both Marx's methodology and his response to Quesnay's tableau économique. It is shown that the ecological critique is incorrect. |
