| Tiivistelmä: | Overall, Shanghai's employment situation in the coming over ten years allows of no optimism. Under the market economy, the major measures to alleviate the employment contradiction are to control labour supply, increase demand for labour and strengthen the function of labour market in adjusting supply and demand. As to increasing demand for labour,this paper makes the following suggestions: selecting correctly pillar industries and giving scope to their own advantages; conforming to the change of consumption structure and cultivating new hot points of consumption; increasing input in education and improving the quality of labour force; developing selectively labour-intensive industries for creating employment. |
