| Tiivistelmä: | This article proposes a decomposition method that is based on the estimation of productivity distributions. With a micro panel data se of manufacturing firms in Spain the contributions of continuing firms and entry-exit turnover to productivity growth is studied. Incumbent firms are the main factors contributing to the productivity distribution. The entering firms that replace the exiting firms have a positive impact on total factory productivity distribution. |
