| Tiivistelmä: | In a recent paper, referring to Ekern's theoretical contribution, a set of conditions were developed which identify the so-called time dominance /TD/ of one of two mutually exclusive projects. These conditionss were applied to cash flow series defined in terms of the discrete model. In this paper the genuine time dominance conditions for the discrete model of time and value representation are derived. It is shown that they are not only much more simple to be handled than those presented earlier, but are also a part of an already existing approach. Complementary conditions applicable for the negative interest rates, both for the discrete and continuous models are also derived. |
