| Tiivistelmä: | The role of multi-attribute decision models is addressed in the context of supporting complex realistic decision problems.The process of model development and its utilization for option evaluation is presented at a general organizational level and with specific cases.The main stages of model development and utilization are described.According to these stages, a simple model for the evaluation of notebook computers is developed and presented in detail. Finally, two complex real-life models for the evaluation of production portfolio and R&D projects are shown and discussed. |
