| Tiivistelmä: | Risk is a part of any investment, especially in information technology. BPR increases the problems associated with risk and risk management because it represents fundamental change. The paper explores how business process re-engineering (BPR) risk assessment and management techniques may be used. The presented framework provides a useful and sufficient way for viewing potential risks and allowing for managers to plan and avoid problems associated with the implementation of BPR. BPR projects should consider the evaluation of risk under the headings of business, financial, culture, structure and technology. |
