Tiivistelmä:Organizational self-assessment is the evaluation of a firm's processes or systems using little or no outside assistance. A key aspect is the model of organizational functioning against which actual performance is compared. Drawing from experiences with the Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence and other frameworks, this paper defines criteria that managers can use to select an appropriate model, and illustrates how those criteria apply to popular models used for self-assessment. This can help managers find one that will work best for their companies.
