| Tiivistelmä: | This paper builds upon the work of Peter P. Poole, Barbara Gray and Dennis A. Gioia. This rare trio are interested in meaning-making processes within organizations, in particular in the type of cognitive schema known as a script: the specialized cognitive structure "that retains expectations of how to behave in specific situations and contexts". Routinized responses may be seen as the product of a script: a circumstance in which the understander "is hypothesized to possess conceptual representations of stereotyped event sequences". |
