| Tiivistelmä: | With the privatisation of formerly publicly owned energy, utility and other public infrastructure services all around the world, foreign investment in infrastructure projects has become a very large, and very new business. It raises a problem hitherto rarely encountered in foreign investment, that of foreign investors becoming hostage to the politics of public infrastructure (energy supply, water, roads, railway and airport transport) with little or no way of escaping. |
