In almost all categories the continental players are on the rise. Merrill Lynch stands out in every category: first for asset-backed securities, second for FRNs, third for convertibles, illiquid instruments and brady bonds. SBC Warburg, which features in 18 categories altogether, comes first in straights second in convertibles and third in FRNs. |
