| Tiivistelmä: | The Delphi technique (hereafter as: D.) has been increasingly applied to tourism research during the last 30 years. Yet, there is mystification as to D. characteristics and procedures. This paper aims to demystify the D. and to advance understanding of the D. technique. Introduced is a generic D. procedure, a critical review of its advantages and potential problems. Identified are critical design decisions. Using an example and a critical review, expert panel design and management are highlighted. |
