| Tiivistelmä: | Recent analyses indicate that the overall impact of the 1994 Uruguay Round Agreement on world trade and incomes will be significant (WTO, 1994; and Martin and Winters, 1995). As a result of the Agreement, the level of world merchandise trade is expected to be around 9-24 per cent higher in the year 2005 than it would be otherwise, an increase of approximately US$244-668 billion (1992 prices). |
