| Tiivistelmä: | Upon the publication by IPM (Institute of Personnel Management) Equal Opportunities Code, which incorporates a section on age discrimination in recruitement, the author started his own project to monitor the content of job advertisements. He records his far from comfortable findings and proceeds to challenge some conceptions about employees of 40 years and older. Ads placed by consultants cited maximum age limits in 50 per cent of cases and by employers 25 %. Papers in the study were Personnel Management and Sunday Times. |
