| Tiivistelmä: | The c-shaped Bohai Sea Rim Economic Zone where are distributed over ten coastal cities generally covers Liaoning, Hebei and Shandong provinces as well as Tianjin and Beijing. It is a centre linking the famous Euro-Asia Continental Bridge and the morthern part of the Pacific Ocean. With reform and opening up and economic development presenting a state of advancing from south to north, Bohai riregion will become another new hot bed of investment after Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta. This region has good foundation and advantages in ogriculture, industry and the tertiary industry. This paper raises the countermeasures for its sustainable development stressing the government's intervention, agricultural industrialization, developing the tertiary industry and solving the problem of chaotic and duplicated construction. |
