| Tiivistelmä: | Knowledge economy is the product of socio-economic development in the new stage and it is also the new driving force of shift of industrial structure. Knowledge economy has brought both new challenge and chance to Shanghai. If Shanghai can seize this chance and develop its economy rapidly, it can speed up technological progress, narrow the gap between Shanghai and the advanced countries and optimize its industrial structure though it is unable to enter the society of knowledge economy at once. So Shanghai should seize the favorable opportunity to speed up technological progress, develop high and new technology and attach importance to personnel training. |
