| Tiivistelmä: | This paper analyzes the status quo of foreign economy and trade and the major problems in this line in Tumen River area and also raises the guiding ideology of foreign economic and trade development in this area and the general plan on inviting foreign investment: Focus should be put on introducing the enterprises of America and European countries. The foreign-funded enterprises in coastal areas are encouraged to transfer the sites of factories or set up subsidiary factories there. The cooperation on the development of timber, minerals resources and marine product in Russia and the Far East area can be conducted by means of foreign investment, participating in equity and cooperative development, and the developed products may be sold back to China or reexported. |
