| Tiivistelmä: | Asian financial crisis causes the decrease of export demand and to a certain degree lowers the competitiveness of Shenzhen's export goods. In 1998, the general trade export is 2.453 billion dollars, a decrease of 22.2 percent comparing with the same period of last year. To a certain degree, this limits the industrial development in Shenzhen special economic zone, but it hasn't brought essential influences on the financial conditions of industrial sectors in the special economic zone. The current situation in the financial sector is as follows: The quality of assets has improved; the liquidity of assets has dropped and the profitability of assets has decreased. |
