| Tiivistelmä: | This paper makes an analysis of the re-development of Dalian city at the angle of capital growth. It points out the following major problems in this line: the shock of South East Asian financial crisis, the influence of the national policy tilting to the western area gradualy and weakening phenomena appearing in the ability of system innovation, being weak in financing ability and narrow and blocked in channal for financing. In view of the above, it thinks that the following measures must be taken: 1.strengthening the government's supervision and management of financial industry; 2.formulating reasonal and feasible strategy and measures for introducing investment; 3.maintaining the status of Dalian as a natural good port and a port trade city; 4.raising Dalian's rate of capital accumulation; 5. attaching importance to human investment. |
