| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this paper is to investigate the innovation process in young high-technology firms paying particular attention to entrepreneursÂ’ professional and social environments. The circumstantial factors have an important role in the incubation and development of entrepreneurial talent and ability to recognize and exploit opportunities. The analyzed data was collected from in-depth interviews in 31 companies in Scotland and Canada. According to findings the incubator firms have great significance in both regional and national economic development. |
