| Tiivistelmä: | After the unexpected reunification of Germany the issue of cooperation between companies of both parts of this country became urgent. The authors were commissioned with a research project to analyze the problems of cooperations between East and West German companies. They interviewied 55 managers during the summer 1990. Among other topics the interviews deal with the objectives and organization of cooperations, their internal and external problems and useful focal points of common activities. The article is a typical example for the uprising of a new research field: how to bridge efficiently enormous differences between eastern and western companies in a rapidly unified economy. |
