| Tiivistelmä: | JIT implementation in small sized manufacturing facilities is not always successful. In this article, the implementation of two of the elements of the JIT philosophy is analyzed in small sized manufacturing organizations. Results show that these companies have priorities and policies very different from those required to implement these two JIT elements. Therefore, these elements have not been widely pursued. |
