| Tiivistelmä: | In arts organizations, leadership is directed towards the achievement of an artistic goal and is the responsibility of the artists, regardless of their position within the organization. Management is in the service of and subordinate to this goal. The exercise of authority in arts organizations is determined by artistic rather than financial or 'humanist' needs, which adds to the preponderance of artistic leadership over management within such organizations. |
