Tiivistelmä:The purpose of the paper is to investigate the role of firm size in the power relations of inter-organizational networks. Corporate social responsibility practices among cleaning subcontractors are studied in three different sized firms, using semi-structured interviews. The results of the study reveal that large client-firm pressures affect the legal and ethical dimensions of social responsibility. The findings indicate that all the four dimensions of Carroll's corporate social responsibility model (economic, philanthropic, legal and ethical) ought to be evaluated against a fifth root dimension: inter-personal commitment.
