| Tiivistelmä: | A review of converting from a unionized employee work force to less costly contract vendors, using the pod system for contract settlement, specific applications, results and benefits, based on the experience of the Northwest Forest Operations division of ITT Rayonier. The authors show that those workers to chose to stay with the company improved their economic status through increased productivity and enjoy greater freedom. |
