| Tiivistelmä: | Production growth is considered in relationship with strategy, feasibility, and profitability. A number of growth-oriented alternative approaches to production are indicated. But even with an optimal choice of routes (contractors, production structure, payment systems, manufacturing processes etc.) the growth will still tax the resources more than the straight way ahead. Prospectively, it pays to make a few simple calculations. Some ways of production segmentation are specified. The reduction of manufacturing levels is recommended for better capacity utilization. The option of locating production in low wages regions is considered. |
