| Tiivistelmä: | The structures of the suppliers' sector in the Federal Republic of Germany and in Japan are quite different. In Japan this sector has a vertical organization. That means the subcontractors are only producing for one large-scale enterprise (the purchaser). In the FRG the ancillary industry is horizontally organized. One subcontractor is producing for several purchasers. So there is competition between the subcontractors. In consequence of this general difference in the organization of the ancillary industry in the FRG an in Japan there are further distinctions. These distinctions are analyzed in four inquiries. The main results of these inquiries are presented in the article. |
