Tiivistelmä:Cable TV industry developed in the 1970s in Argentina. The turning point of the development came when the government authorized the reception of foreign signals via satellite. Cablevision and Video Cable Communication (VCC) were the first two systems in Buenos Aires in the early 1980s. A third cable system will be launched in mid 1990. The present regulatory system is chaotic around cable so the government is considering new regulation for cable TV in 1990.
