| Tiivistelmä: | The number of firms offering their employees flexible benefits has risen by more than 50% in the last year, with perks ranging from childcare vouchers to personal pensions. The author talks to several organizations which have found that flex schemes help meet the diverse needs of staff. During the past year more than 200 employees at Admiral Insurance have been invited to go on a shopping spree in the company's benefits store. Under a scheme launched in April 1993, any employee who has been with the motor insurance firm for more than 12 months can spend a sum worth up to 13% of their basic salary on a range of flexible benefits. |
